M\u00fcller Cup characteristics:<\/h1>\n
M\u00fcller-style cups of Surgival<\/a> are based on the original design developed by Maurice M\u00fcller decades ago. Fully manufactured in ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE) and featuring a hemispheric design that enables maximum preservation of bone stock and guarantees uniform load distribution to the bone thanks to the close contact with the acetabular bone of less than 0.5 mm.<\/p>\n
These are cemented cups, meaning that the convex external surface has a special grooved design aimed at improving primary fixation of the cup. This primary fixation occurs when the cup impacts against the previously cemented acetabular cavity.<\/p>\n
