The Research and Development Department of SURGIVAL was created in 1997 with the strategic goal of developing a new range of innovating products that covered the needs observed by professionals of orthopedic surgery and traumatology.
As a result, SURGIVAL provides this department with the human and technological resources necessary to carry out this task as efficiently as possible.
The human team is made up of industrial engineers and draftsmen that work together with teams of scientific consultants specialized in each of the existing product lines.
The technological resources and tools used for the development of the projects consist of: computer-assisted advanced software for design, engineering and production (CAD/CAE/CAM tooling).
In addition, SURGIVAL is associated with technological research centres such as the IBV (Biomechanical Institute of Valencia), the AIMME (Metal-Mechanic Institute) and many others that carry out prototyping, product validation and assessment.
During its recent history, SURGIVAL has firmly believed and still believes that investing in continuous research, commitment to excellence, uniformity and the desire to always provide a product in state-of-the-art technology is the best added value that can be offered to its customers.
As proof of this, here is a list of some of the most major projects carried out by the company:
